We keep drawing the same moment

melowear is a small clothing label from Falkenberg on the Swedish west coast.

The same idea keeps turning up in the drawings. A figure at the edge of a crack. A heart offered and not taken. The point where something looks finished and is not. It goes on the back of a shirt because that is where it gets seen.

What we care about

The garment before the graphic. A print can only ever be as good as what it is printed on. We start with the weight, the cut and the collar, and only then think about what goes on the front.

Restraint. Clean shapes, quiet colours, nothing that shouts. Clothes you reach for because they work, not because they are loud.

Saying what is true. We tell you the fabric weight, where your order was printed, how long it will take, and when you might get a customs bill. No countdown timers, no invented scarcity.

How it is made

A short range rather than a long one, printed after it is ordered. Nothing is overproduced and nothing is destroyed unsold. It is a slower way to work and we think it is the right one. The delivery detail is on the shipping page.
